Quilling Cat Earrings
Quilling Cat Earrings
I made these earrings for some Little Lady. she is so in love with cats that I couldn’t resist. To be hones it wasn’t the easiest task.. The earrings should be small and not so fragile and yes it has to be a funny cat.
As you can see on the picture, my quilled cat earnings are teeny tiny ( next time I’ll have to use the microscope!! )
See my quilling strips aren’t much wider then 2 mm gemstones 😉 Told ya I have to buy a microscope!
These earrings are covered in four layers of special acrylic varnish with satin finish. I just don’t like the shiny ones. Each layer of varnish strengthen paper strips and make them moist and dust resistant. I can even say water resistant ( I checked them under running water ).
If you’re trying to varnish your earrings you have to be patience. Wait till layer of varnish is completely dry!!That you can apply another one.

Have a wonderful and creative day!
